Even though I'd finished HSK 2 from another institute, I was not very confident when it came to recognising and reading Mandarin characters.

It was at this juncture that I requested Samridhi to organize classes to help me brush up on characters. By spending time every week to understand the meaning behind each characters as well as repeated exposure through reading and translation exercises, I was able to build my repertoire steadily. Now I can confidently decipher and read characters to an extent that I never thought possible before!

Since then, I have also been learning HSK 3 with her.

Sam is an amazing teacher and classes with her are an absolute pleasure. I'd wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone who's looking at learning Mandarin.

Samriddhi is a very dedicated teacher and constantly tries ways to improve her classes. Her classes aren't boring or monotonous since she doesn't just stick to the HSK curriculum and actually teaches the language practically so we can keep up real conversations.

Her experience living and studying in China is extremely helpful and she's able to give a lot of cultural context and more colloquial alternatives for textbook expressions. Her course is also very well-structured and doesn't simply follow a conventional flow so that a student at any level can benefit from it.
